most prestigious law firms, Teig Whaley-Smith, Esq. left to create

Proud graduate of Milwaukee Public Schools (38th St. Elementary,
Jackie Robinson Middle, Solomon Juneau Business High).
Development Attorney:  Teig has represented developers on
projects ranging from the rehabilitation of small businesses on
North Avenue to multi-million dollar commercial and residential
developments. First, with the law firm of
Michael Best & Friedrich,
and now with Community Development Advocates.

City Counselor for ten years at Badger Boys State, a week-long
summer program for Wisconsin high school juniors, which
teaches our young leaders the workings of government “by doing.”  
Participants elect their own municipal, county and state officials,
and by doing so, develop a sense of individual obligation to the
community, state and nation.

MPS Volunteer through several career days,
Freedom’s Answer
2002 (a non-partisan, non-profit voter turnout campaign led by our
nation's youth), and
Junior Achievement (an organization seeking
to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise,
understand business, and be workforce ready)

Park Lawn YMCA, Board of Managers, helping the nation’s only
YMCA located within a Public Housing Project to “Build Strong
Kids, Strong Families, Strong Communities”

Future Philanthropists, an active member in getting this grass-
